Steamed Garlic Prawns Vermicelli

Steamed garlic prawns with vermicelli is a tasty dish with little preparation. Using Le Creuset’s cast iron buffet casserole to steam, your meal will be ready in 5 minutes. This waterless method can be used to steam fish and chicken as well. Follow my recipe to learn how to make this classic dish.

Ingredients

  • 100g vermicelli noodles (Pre soaked 30mins)

  • 7 white prawns

  • 2 fresh scallops (optional)

  • 3 Squids (optional)

  • 2 1/2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 8 cloves minced garlic (chopped)

  • 1 tsp ginger (chopped)

  • 1 fresh chilli (minced)

  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 3 dashes white pepper

  • 5 tbsp water

  • 1 cap shao xing wine
