Gula Melaka Chiffon Cake
Try this light and fluffy Gula Melaka (Palm Sugar) Chiffon cake which is tasty, moist and not too sweet. It is the perfect pairing with coffee or tea for breakfast or afternoon tea.
Ingredients
- Gula Melaka Syrup
100 g Gula Melaka (palm sugar)
180 g coconut milk
2 pandan leaves knotted
- Egg yolk batter
5 egg yolks, large eggs
50g oil
150 g all purpose flour, sifted
1/2tsp baking soda
- Meringue
5 egg whites
60g sugar
